You don’t recognize this version of your relationship.

Maybe you’ve been stuck in the same argument for months (or years). And lately, it only feels like it’s getting worse. You’re not sure when the shift happened, but today you’re more like roommates than partners. You miss each other—miss feeling close, how easy it used to be, and the laughter. But now, things feel fragile. Even small conversations can turn into big blowups, or you just avoid talking at all.

And in a place where marriage and family are held up as the “end all be all,” this disconnection can feel even more discouraging. From the outside, things might look “fine”—you’re doing all the right things—but inside, the cracks are growing. And no one really talks about how painful that can be.

You might be thinking things like:

  • “We keep having the same argument, and nothing gets resolved.”

  • “I feel like I do all the emotional work.”

  • “If I say how I really feel, it just makes things worse.”

  • “It’s like we’re living parallel lives.”

You’ve tried to fix it on your own. You’ve read the books, had the late-night talks, made promises to “do better”…but the distance hasn’t really changed. You’re here because something needs to shift, and you’re ready to figure out how to get there, together.

My approach

It’s never too late to feel close again.

I work with couples who care deeply about each other and want to succeed, but who constantly get caught in roadblocks of feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or hurt. My style is warm, present, and engaged—you both deserve that. I’m not just here as a listener, but as a guide who helps you slow things down, make sense of what’s really happening, and start practicing new ways of connecting in real time.

Here, you won’t be blamed or picked apart. I don’t believe in finding “the bad guy” in your relationship, so you don’t need to worry about me favoring one partner over the other. I’m here for both of you. Instead, we’ll look at the emotions, habits, and sometimes trauma from the past that keep pulling you apart, so you can learn how to genuinely change them. We’ll build skills to communicate clearly, repair after conflict, and create a more secure, loving connection that lasts.

FAQS

Frequently asked questions

  • If you feel like your relationship is hanging by a thread or just stuck in the same painful loops, therapy can help. Intensives are especially impactful when weekly therapy hasn’t gone deep enough, fast enough. Some couples worry that because they’re not in a full-blown crisis, they may not be fit for an intensive, but that’s actually not the case. I support couples in all their unique challenges and variety. What you do need is to be ready to show up, dig in, and have a desire for more than surface-level fixes.

  • Yes. You can choose from two follow-up packages to keep momentum going. We’ll make a plan that feels right for you.

    • 2-month package: 8 weekly 90-minute sessions – $2400

    • 3-month package: 12 weekly 90-minute sessions – $3600

  • That’s exactly what this work is for! You don’t need to come in with everything organized or the “right” words. I know it can be hard to articulate all that you’re feeling and dealing with as a couple. I’m skilled at helping people slow down, tuning into what’s really going on, and finding the right path forward.

  • That’s something I hear a lot. Intensives are different because they allow you to stay with the work long enough to go deeper and to actually follow through instead of stopping when the session ends. If you’ve felt like therapy just scratched the surface, this format might be exactly what you’ve both been needing.

  • Yes. Many couples navigate differences in belief, especially in Utah. I’m very sensitive and aware of faith backgrounds and how they shape both relationships and culture. Therapy is a safe place for both of you to feel understood and work through those differences together.
